Asking questions, not selling
You are the whole company.
Bookkeeper, trainer, and the one who drives over when someone doesn't show up. I've been spending my weeks behind the counter in stores like yours, working out which piece of that I could take off you entirely.
Why Swimy
One small fish worked it out.
In Leo Lionni's picture book, a school of little fish survive the tuna by swimming close together in the shape of something too big to bother. The smallest one takes the front and becomes the eye.
Small business owners have known this forever — the co-op, the chamber, the guy two doors down who signs for your packages. What changed is that the tuna got software. The chain down the road has a training department and a forecasting system. You have Sunday night and a laptop.
I'm not interested in building you another dashboard to check. The only thing worth building is something that does the work and tells you afterward — which means it doesn't just have to be good, it has to be right. The last thing I built was an AI testing tool, so that part I know how to check.
I've spent the last few months behind other people's counters — ringing up customers, sorting vendor invoices, watching a new hire fumble something they only do twice a month. Before I build the wrong thing, I want to hear it from more owners than the handful I already know.
Twenty minutes. You'll do most of the talking.

Two other conversations
Different problems with different answers, so they're not in the list above.
“I want to franchise my store.”
One location that works, an operations manual you haven't written, and no way to know if a stranger two states away runs it your way.
Tell me where you're stuck →“I'm the franchisor.”
You see it across the whole system. If you'd rather your operators had one thing that worked than each buy something different, that's worth a call.
Start that conversation →The ask
Twenty minutes, and I'll owe you one.
No pitch, no deck. I'll ask what your week looks like and where it breaks. You'll get back what every other owner told me.
- Nothing to buy, and no pricing to argue about
- No demo yet — you'd be on the short list who sees it first
- I'm going narrow before I go wide, so I may tell you you're not the fit
